Client Care & Safety Policy
At Ink & Beauty by Arlene, we prioritize your safety, well-being, and satisfaction. To ensure a smooth and respectful experience for everyone, we’ve outlined the following policies. These policies are designed to protect both you, as our valued client, and our staff. Please take a moment to read through them.
1. Health & Safety
Client Health: If you are feeling unwell, have recently experienced any symptoms of illness, or have any open wounds, we ask that you reschedule your appointment. We reserve the right to decline services if there are health concerns.
Allergies & Sensitivities: Please inform us ahead of time of any allergies or sensitivities, particularly to makeup products, oils, or other materials used during your service.
Cleanliness: We uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation to ensure a safe environment for all clients. All equipment is sterilized after each use, and our studio is regularly cleaned.
2. Appointments & Cancellations
Booking: To secure your spot, all appointments require a deposit. This deposit will be applied toward your service total. Deposits are non-refundable. Or you can go to our service tab and buy the session online, Arlene will call you to book you in. Make sure you qualify for our PMU services.
Cancellation Policy: We understand that life happens. However, we ask for a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will result in a fee of 50% of the total service amount.
No-Show Policy: If you do not show up for your appointment, you will be charged the full-service amount. Repeat no-shows may result in refusal of future services.
3. Late Arrivals
Late Policy: If you arrive more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, we may need to reschedule to ensure we can offer the full quality of service to all clients. If this happens, a cancellation fee may apply.
4. Client Responsibility
Self-Care & Aftercare: Clients are responsible for following aftercare instructions provided after treatments. Failure to do so may impact the results of the service and is not the responsibility of the artist.
Personal Property: We are not responsible for any lost or damaged personal items during your appointment. Please keep personal belongings close and secure.
5. Conduct
Respectful Behavior: We strive to provide a peaceful, welcoming environment for all. Inappropriate behavior, including but not limited to verbal abuse, harassment, or physical aggression, will not be tolerated. We reserve the right to end any session and ask disruptive clients to leave the premises.
Confidentiality: We respect your privacy. Any information you provide during your session will be kept confidential and used solely for the purpose of providing services.
6. Service Satisfaction
Results: While we strive to provide the best results, please be aware that individual results may vary. We encourage clients to ask questions and express any concerns during their consultation and aftercare sessions.
Refund Policy: Due to the nature of our services, all sales are final. If you are dissatisfied with your service, please notify us within 7 days, and we will do our best to resolve the issue through touch-ups or adjustments.
7. Liability
Liability Waiver: By booking a service with Ink & Beauty by Arlene, you agree to release the artist and the studio from any liability or harm that may occur during or after the service, unless it is caused by the direct negligence of the artist or staff.
Physical Injury: Some services, particularly physical treatments, may involve light discomfort or temporary effects. It is your responsibility to ensure you are in good health and able to receive the services you book.
8. Gift Cards & Promotions
Gift Cards: Luxe Gift Cards are redeemable for any services offered. They are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Expiration dates may apply, so please check the terms when purchasing or receiving a gift card.
Promotions: All promotions and discounts must be used at the time of the service and cannot be applied retroactively. Promotions may not be combined with other offers or gift cards.
